Time runs too fast... 

Le temps passe trop vite … 

I just lended in Denver for the Burton US Open in Vail, that was a really good surprise when I received an invite last week after the Burton European Open ! 

Je viens juste d'atterrir à Denver pour le Burton US Open à Vail, ça a été vraiment une bonne surprise de recevoir une invitation la semaine dernière après le Burton European Open !

Burton European Open : 

Lucky day with the weather... I went through the semis with the 5th place at the qualis then finished 8th. Only 6 girls in finals this year but still happy with that result !

Jour de chance au niveau de la météo pour nos qualifs et finales... Je passe en demies finales avec une 5ème place aux qualis pour finir 8ème. Seulement 6 filles en finales cette année mais contente du résultat quand même !

Pre-olympic world cup in Sochi :

It went not too good, but the level in the girls finals was insane even if most of them fell. Sophie ended up 3rd and Arthur 6, which is a pretty cool thing.

Ca ne s'est pas très bien passé, mais le niveau des filles en finales était vraiment fou même si la plupart sont tombées. Sophie finie 3ème et Arthur 6, ce qui est vraiment cool.

Back home for a week : 

It's good to be back home for more than one night ! One week under a beautiful sun where I enjoyed the fresh snow and went to see what the pipe in Meribel looks like. 

 Ca fait du bien de revenir à la maison pour plus d'une nuit !  Une semaine de grand beau où j'ai pu profité de la neige fraiche et faire un tour au pipe de Méribel.

Park City & back to Europa

We left on sunday to do an express round trip to Park City, America : only 3 days.

Anyway, we had a World Cup there where I ended up 13th. Conditions were not easy : cloudy, a bit of snow and wind, but a pipe perfectly shaped. 

We are now in Laax, Switzerland for the Burton European Open, qualis are on Wednesday and all our training were cancelled due to a really bad weather so keep your fingers crossed ! Then we are flying to Sochi in Russia for the pre-Olympic World Cup. 

Nous sommes partis dimanche pour un aller retour express à Park City, Amérique : seulement 3 jours.

Bref, nous avions une coupe du monde la bas où je finis 13ème. Les conditions n'étaient pas faciles : jour blanc, un peu de neige et du vent, mais un pipe parfaitement shapé. 

Nous sommes maintenant à Laax en Suisse pour le Burton European Open, les qualifs sont mercredi et tous nos trainings ont été annulés à cause du mauvais temps donc croisez les doigts ! Puis nous irons en Russie à Sochi pour la Coupe du Monde pré-Olympique.

Colorado, LA & Happy New Year !

After 3 weeks of training in Frisco CO, we went to Los Angeles with Clemence and Mirabelle to have a little of rest and discover this town. 

Always our camera with us, we saw a lot in 10 days : Chinatown, Little Tokyo, Melrose, Beverly Hills, Venice beach, Hollywood, Santa Monica, Malibu, Warner studios visit… and we didn't forget the shopping in the outlets and malls ! Photos will be better to show you :) That was really a good week where we had a lot of fun with Clemence's aunt and cousins.

I hope everyone enjoyed their Christmas and I take this opportunity to wish an Happy New Year to everyone ! 

It's now time to come back in Colorado (Frisco) and find again the -20 degrees or more. A few days of training before the World Cup in Copper the 10th of Jaunuary !

Après 3 semaines d'entraînement à Frisco, Colorado, nous sommes parties avec Clémence et Mirabelle à Los Angeles pour prendre un peu de repos pendant les fêtes et en profiter pour découvrir cette ville. 

Munies de notre appareil photo, nous avons pu en voir beaucoup en 10 jours : Chinatown, Little Tokyo, Melrose, Beverly Hills, Venice beach, Hollywood, Santa Monica, Malibu, visite des studios Warner… sans oublier le shopping dans les outlets et grands centres commerciaux ! Les photos en parleront mieux :) C'était vraiment une bonne semaine où on s'est bien marrées avec la tante de Clemence et ses cousines.

J'espère que tout le monde a passé un Joyeux Noël et j'en profite pour souhaiter une Bonne Année à tous !

C'est maintenant l'heure de retourner dans le Colorado (Frisco) et de retrouver le grand froid. Quelques jours d'entraînements avant la Coupe du Monde de Copper le 10 janvier !

Summer 2012, how was it ?

It has been too long that I didn't updated but here I am again. Here is a short summary of my summer in pictures ! 

Ca fait longtemps que je n'ai pas fais de mise à jour mais me voilà de nouveau avec un résumé de mon été en photos ! 

First of all, I passed my French exam in June which means I'm not in highschool anymore ! Tout d'abord, j'ai eu mon BAC en juin ce qui veut dire que le lycée est terminé! 

Then : 

Les 2 Alpes for 2 weeks : soft snow, friends, fun...

Home for a week : friends, sun, sports, chilling, wisdom teeth surgery...

Bali for 3 weeks : family, friends, sun, surf, diving, sunset, sports, paradise!!

New Zealand for a month : snow, good parks, friends, fun...Such a nice trip ! 

2nd at the World Junior Championship

I was last week in Sierra Nevada, Spain for the World Junior Championship. After two days of trainings in a beautiful pipe, we had qualis. So much pressure that day after a big fell on my first run, but fortunately my second run went good enough to go directly in finals with Clem. The day after, finals day, I lended the run I wanted to do, which ended me at the 2nd place behind the really strong american Arielle Gold! A happy end of the season :) that was my best season so far, thanks everyone for the good times and for the support!

J'étais la semaine dernière à Sierra Nevada, en Espagne pour les championnats du monde junior. Après deux jours d'entrainements dans un beau pipe, on a eu les qualifs. Beaucoup de pression ce jour là après une grosse chute au premier run, mais heureusement le deuxième run s'est plutot bien passé pour passer directement en finales, avec Clem. Le lendemain, jour des finales, j'ai réussi à plaquer le run que je voulais faire, ce qui me fais donc terminer 2ème derrière la très forte américaine Arielle Gold! Une bonne fin de saison :) ca a été ma meilleure saison de loin, merci tout le monde pour les bons moments et pour le soutien!

3rd place at world cup overall, BEO in Laax

I finally made it to Laax after so much problems with our planes from Canada, 2 days of traveling!

World cup in Canada was not very good for me, I had some troubles with riding the pipe and didn't land the run I wanted to do. So I ended up with the 13th place. It was our last world cup for the season, and the good news is that i'm finished 3rd at the world cup overall ranking in pipe! 

Je suis enfin arrivée à Laax après tellement de problèmes avec nos avions du Canada, 2 jours de voyage!

La coupe du monde au Canada ne s'est pas très bien passée, j'ai eu quelques soucis à rider le pipe et je n'ai pas plaqué le run que je voulais faire. Donc j'ai terminé à la 13ème place. C'était notre dernière coupe du monde de la saison, et la bonne nouvelle est que je finis 3ème du classement général de la coupe du monde en pipe!

Then I was in Laax for a week, summer time here ! It was a crazy week. On Tuesday, we had our qualis and I made it to the semies with the 4th place. Then 2 days of training, and semies went down ! It was hard to ride the pipe, really soft snow, mostly on my frontside wall. I felt on my first run on my switch back 5 at the end so I went for the second run with a safe run and didn't put a front 7 in. I finally ended up at the 11th place with back 5, front 5, backside air, front 3, switch air, switch back 5. Not clean as I wanted... but still happy with that and to have new tricks ! Then on saturday night, it was time to party with Trouble Andrew & Youth reptile in concert and celebrate Clemence's 18th birthday! 

Je suis à Laax depuis une semaine, on se saurait cru en été ici ! Ca a été une semaine folle. Mardi, j'ai eu les qualifs et je me suis qualifiée pour les demies à la 4ème place. Puis 2 jours de trainings et les demies ont eu lieu ! C'était assez dur de rider le pipe, la neige était vraiment molle, surtout sur mon mur front. Je suis tombée à mon premier run sur mon switch back 5 à la fin de mon run donc j'ai fais un deuxième run sans prendre de risques, sans faire de front 7. J'ai finalement fais 11 avec back 5, front 5, backside air, front 3, switch air, switch back 5. Pas aussi propre que je le voulais... mais contente quand même et contente d'avoir de nouveaux tricks ! Puis le samedi soir, petite soirée avec Trouble Andrew & Youth reptile en concert et pour fêter les 18 ans de Clémence !

One week at home, then off to CANADA!

Just to tell you that tomorrow i'm going to Canada (Stoneham) for a world cup with French girls. Then after straight to Laax in Switzerland for the Burton European Open! 

Juste pour vous dire que demain, je pars au Canada (Stoneham) pour une coupe du monde avec les filles. Puis après directement à Laax en Suisse pour le Burton European Open !

This week i was at home, I chilled with some friends, went to Annecy, to Val Thorens to watch the Frostgun invitational, went to the physio... And today I skied with my family !! 

Cette semaine j'étais à la maison, j'ai chillé avec les copains, je suis allé à Annecy, à Val thorens pour regarder le Frostgun invitational, au kiné... Et aujourd'hui j'ai skié en famille !!
